Omni Communications began with strong representation of commercial fire alarm systems. That emphasis has shifted over time to include nurse and emergency call, paging, intercom, security, MATV, CCTV, and access control systems. And then....the systems delivered included telephone, LAN wiring, analog addressable fire alarm, and video prescheduling and delivery systems which encompass distance learning, and team teaching. Recently, as the economy has contracted and the Homeland Security requirements have changed the playing field, we are experiencing a return to the even more "hi-tec" Fire Alarm/Mass Notification Systems.
The company has grown from its original dedication of serving electrical contractors, primarily in the bid market, to participating in design and completion of engineered projects. We sometimes work directly with owners, schools, school districts, local and state or federal agencies. We feature industry standard hardware and software, forming integrated systems on the cutting edge of technology. Full specification and CADD (AutoCad LT 2011) support compliment the design process. The use of on-line services to move data and graphics as well as to locate specialty equipment is our second nature. OmniCom has a 24 hour full service division to ensure prompt and proper response to situations around the clock.
